The Vashon Island Coffee Roasterie and Store, is located in a historic building, with beautiful wood floors and twelve-foot ceilings, constructed in 1914 from now-extinct old growth fir. The building is also home to Jim Stewart’s original coffee company, The Wet Whisker, which eventually became Seattle’s Best Coffee. Today, we are continuing in the history and tradition of this location by roasting and blending shade grown, high altitude coffee beans that have been traditionally farmed for generations without using pesticides, or have been organically grown.
